X-Men : First Class Review

Hey all, back again with my review of X-Men: First Class. it was top notch and a great movie. the two surprise cameo's were unspoiled and awesome. The special effect were amazing, the scene where magneto lifts Shaw's sub out of the water was amazing to behold on the big screen.

My only complaints are the inexcuseable ignorances towards prior material in the x-men movie saga, and I blame bryan singer at executive producer. He basically pulled a "superman returns" here, ignoring x-men 3 and showing xavier being paralyzed at a young age, where as in x-men 3 it showed both xavier and erik walking to see the young jean grey. It cant be both ways. I understand that there has been a war of sorts between singer and the director of xmen 3 ratner that he made a bad movie and singer would have done it better, and yes i know some fanboys would wish that the continuity could ignore xmen 3 the same way that the next superman movie will ignore "superman returns", sorry bryan. you just cant flub a second time mr singer, it was bad enuf that with "superman returns" you screwed the pooch in the wrong hole by first showing a young clark kent in smallville with glasses, dumb dumb dumb, then you destroy the character of lois lane by making her a typical damsel in distress, instead of the hot headed, stupidly brave lane made famous by both margot kidder and the recent incarnation on smallville.......seriously lois lane fainting at the sight of superman ?? if he was gone as long as they say she woulda kicked him in his super nuts, or spat on him...and the super-kid thing with asthma ? again, really ?? and i love kevin spacey, but he sucked as lex luthor.......

ok im getting away from xmen.....sorry....i cant stand not understanding a simple continuity like superman or xmen, this isnt LOST, its quite simple....

Is it worth the money ? YES....it hits all the emotional highs and lows that a movie should...you do become invested in the characters, even the tossed in token ethnic characters , they kill the black dude, and make the spanish one a villain....im surprised there havent been complaints about that....

Yes there will be a sequel so you can expect more x-men goodness soon.....personally I hope they do X-Men 4, especially after the spectacular cameo mid film from one of the stars of the first 3 films........the "Go Fuck Yourselves" line was worth the admission alone.....
